Job SummaryAs a Field Life Agent, you will engage in outside sales activities away from your assigned AAA branch, driving new business and helping retain our 14+ million members.
Compensation & Benefits- Sign‑On Bonus: $2,500 ($1,000 paid after 30 days, $1,500 after 90 days)
- Unlimited income potential; average earnings $75,000–$100,000 (base + commissions)
- Annual base pay 31,000 (non‑exempt, eligible for overtime)

- Solicit and sell Life & Health insurance and Annuity products under minimal supervision primarily within ACG branch location.
- Develop leads and prospects through outbound/inbound calls, mailings, referrals, networking, website, seminars, etc.
- Prepare proposals and close sales of Life, Health, Annuity, Membership, and Financial Services products.
- Complete applications, forms and follow internal processing procedures.
- Collaborate with branch staff to reach business goals, maximize leads, and cross‑sell opportunities.
- Assist Underwriting and Brokerage Departments as needed.
- Respond to customer inquiries and ensure sound sales practices.
- Prepare reports documenting prospecting and sales activities; maintain production standards and persistency levels.
- Valid State Life Sales license(s).
- Ability to take and pass LUTC or CLU coursework.
- Maintain Life and Health licenses required to sell products.
- Valid State driver’s license.
- Must qualify, obtain, and maintain all applicable state licenses and appointments required for selling and/or servicing Auto Club Group Membership products.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with a proven record of soliciting and selling life insurance products.
- Experience selling intangible products.
- Strong knowledge of Life Insurance and Annuity products.
- Excellent listening and analytical skills; ability to recommend solutions that meet customer needs.
- Effective communication of complex information.
- Ability to prepare proposals and conduct closing interviews.
- Accurate mathematical calculations for premiums and product values.
- Strong relationship‑building and networking skills.
- Proficiency in prospecting and developing new sales opportunities; meeting production requirements.
- Collaborative, strong communication within the branch.
- Knowledge of tax and legal impacts of products.
- Excellent organization, planning, time‑management, and administrative skills.
- Professional representation of Auto Club Life.
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle for travel.
- Proficient writing skills for routine correspondence.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Good PC skills – word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, email.
- Temperature‑controlled office environment.
- Limited travel for community events; exposure to road hazards and temperature extremes.
