Commercial Door Technician

DH Pace Company, Inc. in Bloomington, Illinois, is seeking to hire Commercial Door Technicians & Commercial Door Installers for automatic entry doors, manual entry doors, and commercial doors. We are hiring both experienced commercial door service technicians/installers and trainees! This individual must be able to safely lift 100 lbs. overhead. A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required.

• Install/Service commercial entry doors and door hardware or install/service of commercial doors (sectional, rolling steel, high speed, etc.)
• Repair, adjust, replace, and/or troubleshoot issues with entry doors and associated hardware or commercial doors
• Operate in a safety‑conscious manner at all times

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Able to safely lift 100 pounds overhead
• Commercial door experience and welding experience preferred; willingness to train accepted
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Experience in construction, general labor, service technician, installer, carpenter, mechanic, assembly work, or any skilled trade is helpful; we are willing to train
