GPS Dozer Operator

Oak Hill Contractors, LLC is a family-owned dirt-excavating business in Southern Illinois and the surrounding region. We specialize in land reclamation, land clearing, revegetation, drain projects, and brush mowing. We contract with coal mines, landfills, quarries, USACE, and many other entities.

Oak Hill is actively recruiting Experienced GPS Dozer Operators for short- and long-term contract jobs in the Southern Illinois region, throughout the Midwest, and many other areas. Applicants must be self-motivated, safety-conscious, and efficient in the areas of production and quality. Surface 50023 MSHA papers are highly preferred.

Qualified applicants must have the following:

• Fine Grading Skills
• Topcon operating system skills (preferred).
• Ability to lead a group within a crew and communicate well with other employees on dirt placement, etc.
• Forward-thinking and proper planning as the job progresses
• Ability to put flat planes to grade as well as be able to perform ditch shaping and elevation checks.
