Maintenance Mechanic GHB

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Northbrook, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for performing both preventive maintenance and troubleshooting activities to ensure smooth operations of production equipment. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical skills and solid electrical experience.

• Starting at $34/hour
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• First Shift (4:30 AM – 1:00 PM)
• Second Shift (12:30 PM – 9:00 PM)
• Third Shift (8:30 PM – 5:00 AM)
• Located in Northbrook, Illinois

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and follow safety protocols
• Support production teams by minimizing downtime through efficient problem-solving
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and efficiency

• Proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on repair skills
• Solid electrical knowledge, including troubleshooting and repair
• PLC experience preferred; candidates with PLC exposure may be considered for Controls Technician opportunities
• Ability to work assigned shifts, with flexibility for weekends and overtime
