Position: Premium Events Coordinator

The Premium Events Coordinator will assist the Director of Premium Events with planning, scheduling, organizing, staffing, and managing assigned premium events and activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating events utilizing premium athletic spaces such as Hancock Stadium, CEFCU Arena, OSF Athletics Training Center and other athletic facilities. Premium events may include weddings, staff meetings, and similar functions. Responsibilities also encompass facilitating contracts, invoicing, compiling a monthly event schedule, and serving as a liaison with various campus units.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hospitality, Event Planning, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration, Student Affairs, Sports Management, Recreation Management, or a closely related field.

One (1) year of full-time or part-time equivalent experience with event coordinating, development, sales, athletics (collegiate or professional), or related field.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

Excellent oral and written communications skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
