Salary: $18-22/hr
Operates commercial equipment for applying fertilizer and herbicides, maintains trucks and equipment, and performs job functions accurately to increase customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Applies fertilizers and pesticides following recommended rates, procedures, and all label instructions. Records application data according to regulations.Sets up and operates material handling, blending, storage, transport, and application equipment.Safely operates sprayers, trucks, and other equipment per company and DOT standards.Performs daily safety checks and pre-trip inspections on vehicles and equipment.Loads and unloads materials and products safely.Ensures proper weight distribution and inventory control, maintaining accurate records.Maintains, repairs, and services equipment and vehicles as needed.Collects soil samples using proper procedures.Follows all safety, environmental, OSHA, and DOT policies and procedures.Performs additional duties as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; 0-2 years of related experience.Business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and skill development abilities.Must have or obtain a CDL with required endorsements, a clean driving record, and a valid medical card.Ability to obtain and maintain pesticide or fertilizer applicator licenses as required.Willingness to work extended hours and on-call as needed.Ability to work in various weather conditions, noisy environments, and handle dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards.Ability to lift 51-70 lbs.Willingness to participate in required training.Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.What We Offer:- Competitive pay and benefits
