Driver; non-CDL​/Laborer

Pay rate: $20 per hour + tips!

• Provide top‑notch customer service as a driver/laborer while safely moving, packing and unpacking customer belongings.
• Safely, responsibly, and professionally operate the moving truck and monitor its functionality; ensure the vehicle is in safe operating order before dispatching for the day.
• Greet customers upon arrival as a driver/laborer and complete a walk‑through of the premises.
• Communicate professionally in English, both verbally and in writing; comfortably interface with customers.
• Accurately calculate charges for services and complete all move‑related paperwork.
• Conduct truck inspections and moving equipment inventory.
• All other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 21 years or older due to insurance restrictions.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required; chauffeur license preferred.
• No driving experience required; we will train!
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively, helpful and friendly with co‑workers, customers and management.
• Stamina to lift heavy items (100 lbs. or more) repeatedly while climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, walking, etc.
• Strong logic and mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using whole numbers and decimals; ability to perform these operations using units of dollars, weight measurement, volume, distance and time).
• Experience in general labor, landscaping, construction or warehouse helpful.
• Two years of prior driving experience required per insurance requirements.
