Project Manager – Industrial Electric, Inc.
An IEI Project Manager manages every facet of the assigned project(s), including safety, organization, planning, scheduling, subcontractor scheduling, and day‑to‑day issues, ensuring the project is completed on time, on budget, and with quality that meets or exceeds IEI’s and the customer’s expectations.
Responsibilities- Project Start Up
- Forecast and analyze construction costs, exposures, and profits.
- Develop a schedule for all phases of the build.
- Assist with permits and due dates, communicating any impact to the proposed schedule.
- Develop and implement project‑specific processes and procedures.
- Project Build
- Lead, direct, and coordinate day‑to‑day construction activities with the Project Superintendent.
- Manage project costs through ongoing evaluation of labor, material, and equipment.
- Interface with all company departments to resolve issues.
- Act as liaison between client, company, subcontractors, and government officials.
- Ensure all safety measures, procedures, and requirements are met, followed, and practiced.
- Project Closeout
- Ensure substantial completion as defined in the specifications.
- Assist with the submission of record drawings, maintenance manuals, and warranties for a smooth closeout.

- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field
- In lieu of a degree, 7–10 years of relevant work experience in the construction industry
- OSHA 30 certification
