Indiana University Health Medical Group is seeking an Infectious Disease physician to join our growing team, practicing at our new hospital & nearby office in beautiful Bloomington, Indiana!

Position Highlights:

• Join 2 physicians in an established practice, sharing call schedule
• Full-time, Days
• Limited call of 1:3
• Work with adults, ages 16+ with both acute and chronic infectious diseases, HIV infections, and other immunosuppressive illnesses, in hospital and outpatient settings
• Provide timely consultations in a broad range of settings, answering questions from referring practitioners and providing quality care and value to the providers and system
• Teaching opportunities with IU School of Medicine medical students and newly developed residency programs

Qualifications:

• Infectious Disease fellowship, required
• Infectious Disease BE/BC, required
• Physician licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure in Indiana
• Call or text for compensation details

The new IU Health Bloomington Hospital and Regional Academic Health Center opened in December 2021. The facility offers a personalized approach to inpatient services (including intensive care, complex surgeries, and comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology services), outpatient services with leading-edge diagnostic testing, flexible space in the emergency department for post-care observation, a dedicated trauma center, and a cancer infusion center.

At the same time, the facility strengthens healthcare education by providing space for collaboration and coordination of care and teaching. Students and trainees frequently come to the hospital side of the facility for clinical experiences.
