Overview

Indiana University School of Dentistry (IUSD) invites applications for the position of clinical assistant professor to teach in our Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene program on our Fort Wayne campus. This is a 0.80 FTE, 10-month, non-tenure track position.

Responsibilities
  • Delivery of didactic, laboratory, pre-clinical, and clinical instruction to dental hygiene students with a focus in courses such as clinical practice, dental materials, and periodontics.
  • Development and updating of courses, student advising, and engagement in academic scholarship and service commitments (e.g., participation in university and professional association committees and activities).
Qualifications and Qualities Sought

The candidate should have a passion for student growth and achievement, academic and clinical excellence, proficiency in didactic instruction, and experience in interprofessional education and community collaborations.
