POSITION: Engineer Level III
LOCATION: Crane, IN
STATUS: Full time – Contingent Hire
- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Engineering field - Experience:
12 years or more of related experience - Citizenship and Clearance: U.S. Citizen with Active Secret Clearance, or ability to obtain one
- Travel:
Ability to travel up to 25% to support client meetings and requirements - Skills:
Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office products; strong verbal and written communication skills; strong problem‑solving skills; ability to work independently or with a team - Desired qualifications:
Client familiarity – some knowledge of USMC history, with specific knowledge of Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) processes - Tools familiarity: MS SharePoint.
- Education:
- PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Provide guidance to Engineers.
- Provide technical comments on performance specifications, test plans, test reports, security classification guides, diminishing manufacturing sources, material shortages, and obsolescence issues associated with programs.
- Update Government System Engineering Plans, Test and Evaluation Master Plans, Requirements Traceability Matrices, and Program Protection Plans for programs.
- Supervise support for engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical requirements.
- Supervise the research test methodologies and instrumentation in support of test programs to include laboratory tests, special investigations, and research.
- Supervise the review, identify discrepancies and redline drawings for system drawings reviews.
- Perform requirements analysis, requirement verification, functional analysis, functional and physical verification, performance verification, and systems analyses on programs and deliver an analysis and Recommendation Report.
- Analyze factors and components of systems to recommend and institute changes to increase efficiency. Provide input and participate in program milestone reviews.
- Examine and analyze current and contemplated operations for developing, defining, and coordinating user requirements which will satisfy the total program need.
- Supervise risk assessments and analysis employing modeling and simulation techniques.
- Provide recommendations and advise on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.
