This is a full-time Diagnostic Radiology Technologist position. The Technologist will work 36hrs weekly, M-F with one day off during the week (day is to be determined). No on-call, travel, evenings or weekends!

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging studies tailored to orthopedic injuries and conditions
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and efficient imaging services
  • Assist in patient care by ensuring comfort, safety, and clear communication throughout the imaging process
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment, adhering to established protocols and safety standards
  • Provide expertise in imaging techniques specific to orthopedic care

Operates imaging equipment such as x-ray, fluoro, portable x-ray, and fluoroscopy equipment used in surgery. Prepares patients by explaining exam and positioning them correctly. Collaborates with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure accurate imaging. Follows radiation safety protocols. Documents detailed patient history. Stays current with continuing education. Monitors patients during exam for safety. Documents necessary information in EMR. Assists with minimally invasive procedures as needed.

  • Requires 0-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
  • Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
  • Requires active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R), through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a recent graduate of an approved training program in Radiologic Technology (board eligible). If board eligible, must obtain credential in Radiography within 6 months of hire.
  • Requires current Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) license as Radiologic Technologist or a current ISDH Radiology Student Permit.
