Assistant-Physical Therapist-Rehab-Resource Pool

Overview

This position is a Full-Time/Day Flat Rate role at Bloomington Hospital.

Physical therapist assistants provide direct patient care and selected physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist. PTAs assist in the clinical education of physical therapy students and supervise physical therapist assistant students, as well as support personnel. They participate in activities supporting patient care, education, and department operations.

* Requires graduation from an accredited physical therapist assistant education program, or, if foreign-trained, graduation from an assistant physical therapist education program outside the US with coursework accepted by Indiana PLA. Certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Indiana is required. Basic Life Support certification through the AHA is also required.
