As a Clinical Caregiver Companion
, you’ll be matched with a local home care agency based on your availability and their current needs.
Responsibilities may include:
- Conversation and companionship
- Medication management and patient monitoring
- Transportation, errands, and grocery shopping
- Light housekeeping and laundry
- Personal care assistance
- Transfers and mobility assistance
This program is designed to give you more than a part-time job. As you gain caregiving experience, Dr. DuBose and the Olera team can support you with:
- Professional school guidance
- Personal statement and application support
- Mock interview preparation
- Mentorship as you build your healthcare experience
We’re looking for reliable, compassionate students who:
- Can work at least 15 hours per week
- Can commit for at least 3 months
- Have a genuine interest in helping others
- Are willing to learn new caregiving skills
- Have access to a personal vehicle
- Have valid auto insurance
Prior caregiving experience is helpful but not required. Training may be provided by your employer depending on the position.
Flexible SchedulingWe know your classes come first. Most opportunities are part-time, with schedules varying based on your availability and the needs of local care providers.
