• Schedule:
  
  Monday – Friday 8:00am–4:30pm
• Agency:
  Redcrest Hospice – Bloomington
• Three years of experience as an RN in hospice required
• Current RN license in state of employment
• Valid driver’s license & auto insurance in your name as a driver
• Capable of all physical demands

• Provide oversight of all personnel to ensure quality and safe delivery of hospice services for patients from beginning to end of stays.
• Monitor compliance, quality, and safe delivery of services by following clinical processes.
• Operations:
  Support and coach hospice care staff; maintain positive working relationships with referral sources; process complaint workflow; report staffing trends, neglect, abuse, theft to Director of Nursing/Executive Director.
• Patient Care:
  Ensure Start of Care compliance; focus on Outcome Monitors as assigned; complete field visits as needed.
• Quality:
  Meet and exceed quality indicators; implement quality improvement programs in the field.
• Budget:
  Manage cost of goods, monitor supply costs, overtime, staffing, bonuses, visits per episode.
• Hiring & Training:
  Select and onboard staff.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work with Agency partner’s Medical Director; guide hospice care; comply with policies; collaborate with billing department; manage referrals.
• Supervision:
  Manage on‑call calendar; oversee PTO, call offs; conduct daily/weekly productivity review; manage staffing budget; report budget exceptions.
• Teamwork:
  Participate in on‑call rotation; manage after‑hour staffing; address patient‑related issues.
• Policies:
  Review clinical documentation; maintain knowledge of Medicare, federal, insurance, company, hospital guidelines and protocols.

• Compassionate communicator with a positive attitude.
• Patience in working with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers.
• Attention to detail and observant; follows directions.
• Critical thinker with ability to problem‑solve clinical needs.
• Ability to triage departmental needs to ensure team goals are met timely.

• Current RN license in state of employment.
• Three years experience as an RN in hospice.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance in your name as a driver.
• Capable of all physical demands.
