Join our oncology/hematology team. This is a full-time RN position working closely with our oncology clinical team and physicians to educate and advocate for hematology and oncology patients. Oncology experience is preferred but not required.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm. No weekends or holidays.
- Assist physicians and clinical staff in educating and advocating for hematology and oncology patients.
- Collaborate with the oncology clinical team to support patient care and daily operations in the ambulatory clinic.
- Grow and learn professionally on a daily basis within a multidisciplinary team.
- Requires an Associate of Nursing (ASN);
Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. - Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Requires graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Requires Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department policies.
- May require ability to assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
- Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
