Urgent Care Registered Nurse

Bloomington, IN Pay: $58.80/hr Type: W2 Contract (Temporary) Duration: ~26 weeks

Schedule:

Minute Clinic hours; shifts typically 7–10 hours. Expect 2–3 weekdays + every other weekend, and some major holidays. Work setting:
Patient-facing; on-site (clinic support as needed).

As an Urgent Care Registered Nurse, you’ll utilize advanced clinical expertise to deliver high-quality, evidence-based patient care—assessing patient needs, administering treatments/medications, documenting in the EMR, and collaborating with the care team to support positive outcomes.

• Provide patient assessments and routine health monitoring
• document in electronic health records
• Administer oral, injectable, and topical medications
• Perform point-of-care testing, vaccinations, and phlebotomy as needed
• Monitor vital signs and identify/report abnormalities
• Support patient education, self-care techniques, and disease management
• Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked clinic environment

• Active RN license in the state of work (must be in good standing; no current or prior disciplinary actions)
• BLS certification (must be valid at least 30+ days beyond the start date)
• 1+ year related healthcare experience
• Recent experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room
• EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
• Experience with phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED (BSN required per hiring requirements)
• Note:
  
  Candidates whose experience is primarily long‑term care (LTC), skilled nursing, LTAC, home health, etc. may struggle in this clinic setting—please ensure recent acute/ambulatory experience.
