Business Solutions Manager at Ledgent Finance and Accounting

Ledgent Finance and Accounting, based in Bloomington, is hiring an Accounting Clerk to support our professional services partner.

Pay: $23.00/hr – $25.00/hr

Schedule: Mon‑Fri 8am‑5pm |
Contract to Hire |
ASAP start

Key Responsibilities
  • Process incoming payments from various channels (checks, ACH, credit cards).
  • Accurately post payments to client accounts in the system.
  • Reconcile daily payment batches and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain detailed records for auditing and compliance purposes.
  • Communicate with internal teams regarding payment issues or adjustments.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable regulations.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in payment processing, accounts receivable, or financial services.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with payment processing systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of debt collection industry regulations is a plus.
