*** We are moving our headquarters to Eagan in Summer of 2025! This role is based at our current HQ in Bloomington but will move to Eagan in Summer of 2025.***
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Front Desk Office Coordinator is responsible for greeting and assisting customers, clients, vendors, and guests that are calling or visiting Hunt’s office locations. This position is also responsible for administrative support for employees, general office administration tasks and print room operations. The in-person position hours are 7 am – 3:30 pm Monday – Friday. The role is based at our corporate office which is currently located in Bloomington, MN through June and will move to Eagan, MN in June 2025 when our office relocates.
- Greet visitors to the company and provide direction to the appropriate location.
- Answer, screen and route incoming phone calls on multiple phone lines for multiple locations and a service lines, using the internal phone system.
- Receive, sort, deliver and distribute mail, faxes, documents, packages and courier deliveries.
- Coordinate the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (Fed Ex, UPS, etc.).
- Prepare panel schedules and wire tags for project teams.
- Maintain and order office supplies.
- Maintain an organized, clean and professional mailroom, conference rooms, and breakroom.
- Prepare accounts payable checks for mailing.
- Support print room / plotter operations:
- Fulfill printing, plotting, scanning, and label requests for Hunt Electric team members.
- Download and file plan documents as requested.
- Order printing supplies as needed and perform basic maintenance/troubleshooting of printers (loading paper, changing toner, etc)
- Maintain electronic file structure/document control standards for numerous active projects.
- Support the organization with meeting and visitor preparation, including drafting or compiling documents, meal ordering, scheduling and room reservations.
- Prepare folders, labels, letters and documents and enter, scan and upload documentation into various systems.
- Act as a liaison to employees to connect them to available resources/teams in the company.
- Track and provide feedback and recommendations on organizational continuous improvement efforts.
- Back up the other administrative assistants as needed.
$25.10 - $28.85 per hour + discretionary bonus + employee ownership + benefits
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years of office administrative and customer support experience required.
- Intermediate understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
- Intermediate skills in MS Word, Outlook and Excel with ability to learn internal software system.
- Strong phone and typing skills.
- Ability to learn phone system and manage multiple lines.
- Ability to type 40+ words per minute.
- Strong organizational skills to be able to prioritize incoming requests and see tasks through to completion.
- Strong attendance history.

- This job operates in a professional office environment.
