** What Will You Do?
** In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
* Support strategic sourcing initiatives and cost savings/cost avoidance projects across a variety of indirect spend categories.
* Analyze procurement, supplier, and spend data to identify trends, opportunities, and recommendations that support sourcing strategies and business decisions.
* Maintain supplier, pricing, and contract-related information within procurement systems and databases.
* Assist with the preparation, distribution, and analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Quotation (RFQs).
* Conduct market research and gather supplier intelligence to support sourcing projects and category strategies.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, and Manufacturing to understand business requirements and support sourcing initiatives.
* Participate in supplier evaluations, business reviews, and contract management activities.
* Support process improvement efforts by helping identify efficiencies, documenting procedures, and recommending best practices.##
** What Do You Need?
** We require interns to be enrolled in an educational program during the duration of the internship program.
* Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, finance, operations, or a related field.
* Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with an interest in interpreting data and developing business insights.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with data visualization or reporting tools is a plus.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive working relationships.
* Self-motivated with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.##
