Jovie is hiring experienced, engaging caregivers to provide in-home care for infants and toddlers with local families throughout the Bloomington area. This is a great opportunity for childcare professionals seeking a rewarding part-time nanny job with daytime hours, supportive leadership, and opportunities for growth.
Position Type:Part-Time Pay: $18.50-$21.50/hour + Overtime Pay What You’ll Do
- Provide safe, nurturing care for infants and toddlers
- Support feeding, naps, and daily routines
- Encourage learning through reading, play, and age-appropriate activities
- Communicate with parents about their child’s day
- Create a positive environment where children can learn and grow
- 3 days within Monday–Friday availability preferred
- Most shifts occur between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
- Typical shifts are 6–9 hours
- Work with vetted local families
- Have at least 1 year of infant childcare experience
- Love working with infants and toddlers
- Are dependable and professional
- Communicate well with parents and children
- Have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Can provide references (At least 2 related to childcare work; 1 character)
- Are least 18 years old
Experience may come from nannying, babysitting, daycare, preschool, church nursery, or other childcare settings.
