*** Entegris is seeking a
** Senior Scientist
** to join its Analytical Services team in Chaska/Bloomington, MN.
* This role will be responsible for leading testing, maintenance, method development, and optimization on our suite of
** Thermal Desorption Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (TD-GCMS)
** instrumentation and serve as a subject matter expert.
* The ideal candidate will be results orientated with good communication skills.
** Responsibilities:
*** Support laboratory operations including performing sample prep and analysis following established SOP’s and safety protocols.
* Operate, calibrate, and maintain analytical instrumentation specifically GCMS, but potentially to include ICPMS, IC, etc.
* Analyze data and communicate results effectively.
* Perform method development, validation, and design of experiments for R&D projects.
* Drive for continuous improvement of existing testing methods and procedures.
* Continuous training on various analytical techniques and methods.
** Qualifications and Preferred

Skills:

*** MS with 3 years relevant industry experience or PhD with relevant  experience in analytical chemistry related field or equivalent work experience to demonstrate competency.
* Considerable knowledge and understanding of GCMS systems and operations, Perkin Elmer experience ideal.
* Experience with other analytical instrumentation including IC, ICP, LPC and polymers is a plus.
* Familiarity with Labware LIMS.
* Detail orientated with strong technical communication skills.
* Ability to work adhering to deadlines; multitasking and prioritizing as needed.
* Self-motivated and independent problem solver.
* A team player.

* Compensation: $74,000- $89,000 per year with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
