Job Title: Senior Geotechnical Project Engineer – Solar

Work Location: Bloomington, MN

Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a client-facing Senior Geotechnical Project Engineer to lead work procurement and manage moderate to complex geotechnical engineering projects, with a focus on solar infrastructure. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.

• Develop scopes of work and prepare proposals for solar-related geotechnical projects.
• Manage project execution including scope, schedule, budget, and safety.
• Support business development and contribute to strategic goals.
• Build and maintain client relationships through regular engagement.
• Coordinate staff and resources with regional operations leaders.
• Prepare and review geotechnical engineering reports and analyses.
• Ensure quality control and resolve technical issues.
• Lead technical teams and mentor junior engineering staff.
• Assist in team development for transmission and power infrastructure projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical, Civil, or related Engineering field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (and ability to obtain licensure in other states).
• Minimum 5 years of geotechnical engineering experience in solar infrastructure.
• Experience with large-scale construction projects preferred.
• Consulting firm experience and existing client relationships are a plus.
