Senior Accountant
OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team. Duties include corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, and participation in internal control policy development. The ideal candidate is direct, proactive, energetic, decisive, detail‑oriented, and a natural leader with a broad finance skill set.

Responsibilities- Oversee core finance and accounting functions, including general ledger, fixed assets, accounts payable, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Manage multiple trading portfolios, with responsibility for job costing and inventory accounting.
- Maintain and meet close deadlines for timely financials.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis for the U.S. business and present results to local management and Lamex Group.
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and assist with audit and tax processes by providing timely and accurate information.
- Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and effective risk controls within the subsidiary ledger.
- Monitor the general ledger, fixed assets, job costing, and inventory to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal controls.
- Identify and elevate financial, operational, or compliance risks to the Controller and/or CFO.
- Handle sensitive and confidential financial information with discretion.
- Contribute as a collaborative team member within a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial, and rapidly growing organization.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Finance/Accounting.
- 5+ years of overall combined Accounting/Finance experience.
- CPA (active or inactive) preferred but not required.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Strong technical accounting skills.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced accounting software user and Excel skills (D365 Finance & Operations preferred but not required).
- International accounting experience is a plus.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
