Mammographer

Interim Healthcare Staffing is currently hiring a Mammographer to their team ASAP! This is an exciting opportunity to work with many leading healthcare organizations throughout the Twin Cities metro area.

Schedule is Monday - Part Time and Full Time available. Most assignments are Monday-Friday clinic hours, approximately 8a-4:30pm. Starting rate: $60-$70 per hour (DOE).

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Currently AART certification including Mammography.
• Two years of Mammography experience desired, diagnostic mammography preferred.
• Able to work in a fast paced environment with a huge emphasis on quality care.
• Detail oriented
• Team player

• Performs mammography services.
• Verifies the appropriate patient for each examination.
• Verifies appropriate procedure to be performed by checking orders and correlating with the patient’s symptoms and problems.
• Thoroughly explains the nature of the procedure to the patient to alleviate patient anxiety associated with the exam and/or equipment.
• Provides the necessary assistance to the radiologist and/or physician with procedures.
• Assists Radiologist and Ultrasound Technologist with invasive breast procedures.
• Maintains a high level of patient confidentiality in adherence with HIPAA guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
