Key Responsibilities- Participate in the development and implementation of business strategies for the restaurant aligned with Radisson Blu’s overall mission, vision, values, and strategies.
- Develop and implement strategies for the department, the assigned Food & Beverage outlets, and to achieve revenue and profit goals.
- Assist in the development of the marketing plan for assigned outlet and keep current on competitors.
- Develop and implement special promotions and employee incentives.
- Provide employees with current, up‑to‑date information on menu offerings and coach them on effective sales techniques.
- Maximize productivity by using forecasting techniques to adjust scheduling.
- Manage the operation of assigned restaurant or outlet, coordinate set‑ups, confirm daily specials, and maintain food and beverage service standards.
- Inspect restaurant and outlet areas on an ongoing basis to ensure facilities meet or exceed the hotel’s standards.
- Lead staff meetings, conduct daily pre‑shift meetings to discuss specials, house count, reservations, new menu items.
- Assist in quarterly inventories.
- Recruit, select qualified candidates, and provide orientation and training.
- Communicate performance expectations, provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and counseling.
- Create 100 % guest satisfaction by delivering the Radisson Blu experience through genuine hospitality and exceeding guest expectations.
- Handle guest problems with empathy, provide solutions, and follow through to ensure solution implementation.
- Perform other duties required to provide service brand behavior and genuine hospitality.
- Minimum two to three years of restaurant management experience.
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other hotel employees and managers.
- Conflict resolution skills with guests, supervisors, and employees.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal liquor laws and regulations.
- Strong floor presence with focus and energy.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Long hours sometimes required; flexible schedule.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds regularly and push or pull up to 75 pounds.
- Good manual dexterity for common office equipment use.
