Support Specialist III | Solution Builders, Inc. | Bloomington, MN
Solution Builders is a managed IT services provider with 30+ years of experience delivering IT support, management, and cybersecurity solutions to businesses. We're hiring a Support Specialist III to serve as the final point of escalation for our service desk.
Compensation: $65,000 - $85,000 per year based on experience

What you'll do:
- Resolve first, second, and third level service requests and alerts across client sites, including Windows server and workstation OS, Mac OS, Microsoft 365 and Azure, cloud applications, printers, routers, firewalls, switches, VPN, Remote Desktop Services, VoIP and mobile phones, and backup solutions
- Mentor and guide tier 1 and tier 2 Support Specialists
- Work with vendor support and internal resources to resolve issues as the final point of escalation
- Lead macro problem resolution and coordinate resources for client communication
- Document all issues, resolutions, and time in the ticketing system
- Keep clients informed on incident progress, upcoming changes, and planned outages
What we're looking for:
- 6+ years of experience in technical support or an equivalent role
- 2+ years of advanced networking or Windows infrastructure support
- Experience in Microsoft 365 admin centers (Exchange, SharePoint, One Drive, and Teams)
- Demonstrated leadership in resolving advanced problems
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with managed IT services strongly preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Windows or Azure certifications preferred
- BS/BA in computer science, business, or a related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
Work location:
Supporting clients from the Solution Builders office in Bloomington, MN, and occasionally at client sites. Some hybrid flexibility.
