The Install Manager provides hands‑on leadership and strategic oversight for the installation department within the Electronics Protection Group (EPG) Division at General Security Services Corporation (GSSC). This role is responsible for managing Install Department staff including Install Technicians, Project Coordinators, and Project Managers to ensure timely, high‑quality system installations, project profitability, and exceptional client experiences. The Install Manager ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities
- Leads and manages the daily operations of the installation team, including Install Technicians, Project Managers, and other install support staff.
- Ensures installation department meets company gross profit objectives through field productivity, scheduling, controlling costs, and maximizing billings.
- Develops, implements, and maintains installation policies, procedures, and standards that enhance client satisfaction and ensuring scope, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Sets clear performance expectations, conducts regular team meetings and check‑ins, and provides coaching and evaluations to support team growth and development.
- Handles escalated client concerns promptly and professionally.
- Develops project schedules, assigns resources, and monitors progress to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Monitors and analyzes KPIs, client satisfaction metrics, and operational benchmarks to evaluate team performance.
- Prepares and presents regular installation metric reports to leadership, identifying trends, gaps, and areas of opportunity.
- Manages larger, complex installation projects.
- Provides direct support to Project Managers, Install Technicians, and other install staff, ensuring technical accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Recruits, trains, and retains top installation team members, while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and growth.
- Drives interdepartmental collaboration with sales, engineering, and service teams to ensure seamless client handoffs and lifecycle support.
- Ensures fiscal responsibility of the department including revenue generation and cost containment, analyzes variances from budget, and takes corrective actions.
- Ensures accurate project information is maintained in company shared files and systems.
- Partners with sales to create proactive plans for projects resources and execution based on sales pipeline and forecast.
- Conducts follow‑ups with clients to ensure they are satisfied with their experience with GSSC’s install department.
- Leads the post‑project review process, working with engineering and sales to improve processes and institutional knowledge.
- Manages assigned vendor relationships.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience in service, logistics, or operations, or a bachelor’s degree.
- 1+ year of supervisory experience.
- Strong leadership and team development skills.
- Excellent written and verbalc communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
