Job Summary
Support the movement of quality manufactured products out of the company. Obtain quality packaging and provide self‑prioritization to achieve on‑time delivery and support company goals. Work Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Duties and Responsibilities- Prioritize processing of finished goods, order fulfillment, data entry, and shipping.
- Interface with various departments and customers, including Customer Service, Fab Operations, Engineering, Finance, Fed Ex, and Nippon.
- Conduct routine inventory cycle counts.
- Prepare materials needed for daily shipments (box preparation).
- Organize and ship items in an orderly manner.
- Maintain quality packaging techniques.
- Daily manage outgoing shipments (domestic and international) with current small‑parcel carriers such as Fed Ex and UPS.
- Maintain 5S initiatives and other corporate objectives (continuous improvement, etc.).
- Assist in packaging, handling, and data filing.
- Maintain a flexible work schedule; overtime may be available.
- Package and ship dangerous goods (training available).
- Assist receiving of chemicals and gas deliveries as required.
- Perform other duties in the logistics department as required.
- Lifting shipping boxes up to 55 lbs daily.
- Daily work hours may fluctuate due to high production output.
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics, receiving, shipping, order management, or production control.
- Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Knowledge of receiving and FIFO practices.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Experience with PSI ships and Great Plains (GP) software.
- Knowledge of Fed Ex, DHL, and other international shipping, including customs, tariff regulations, and requirements.
- Experience using electric and manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and banding machines.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Work in a warehouse environment.
Salary:
Estimated base hourly rate $19–$25, adjusted for education, experience, skills, and position level.
