Press Brake Operator

Marksman Metals Co. Inc. is a leading precision sheet metal contract manufacturer in St. Michael, MN. Operating out of an ultra-clean, state-of-the-art, air-conditioned facility, we pride ourselves on stability, innovation, and a dynamic work environment. We are looking for a dedicated Press Brake Operator to join our growing team.

As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating brake press machinery to produce high-quality precision sheet metal components. You will work closely with production schedules and blueprints to meet or exceed customer specifications.

• Setup & Operation:
  Select and load the appropriate tooling for various jobs.
• Blueprint Interpretation:
  Read, analyze, and interpret complex blueprints and drawings.
• Quality Assurance:
  Perform thorough quality inspections to guarantee accuracy and compliance with routing and drawing specifications.
• Workflow Management:
  Operate efficiently from live schedules, verbal and written instructions, bills of materials, routings, and control plans.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  Maintain press cleanliness, tooling inventory, and work area to the highest safety and 5S standards.
• Compliance:
  Adhere strictly to all safe operating practices and company policies.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator in metal fabrication.
• Thorough understanding of Press Brake controls.
• Strong mathematical proficiency, including the ability to compute decimals and fractions.
• Proficiency with length and angle measuring tools.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints and effectively communicate written and verbal instructions.
• Candidates must have their own tools.

• Monday-Friday, 6:00AM to 3:30/4:30PM (Hours are subject to change based on customer demands).
• Compensation:
  Highly competitive salary. Pay starting at $22-$38/hour.
