Customer Service Associate – Walgreens

Base Pay Range: $15.00/hr – $17.50/hr

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales, provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
• Share customer service best practices with all team members, including interpersonal habits and Walgreens service traits.
• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to customers.
• Recommend items for sale and trade‑ups or companion items.
• Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
• Keep counters and shelves clean, well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
• Inspect and price merchandise as directed by the store manager or shift leader.
• Implement company asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandises.
• Adhere to food safety segregation and rotate stock using FIFO.
• Maintain knowledge of store systems and equipment.
• Assist with photo area customer service, including digital passport photo service and suggestive selling.
• Execute web pick‑up responsibilities, monitoring orders and delivering to customers upon arrival.
• Participate in exterior and interior maintenance for a clean and orderly store appearance.
• Comply with company policies, maintain respectful coworker relationships, and complete special assignments as directed.

• Attend training and complete PPLs as requested by Manager or assigned by corporate.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingly work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• Six months or more experience in a retail environment.
• Prior experience with Walgreens.
• Fluency in English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
