1st Shift - Alarm Dispatcher

The company provides full-service security solutions for homes and businesses including security officer services, smart home automation, burglar and fire alarms, access control, security cameras, alarm monitoring, investigative services and background checks.

• Answer and follow up incoming signals, alarms and requests
• Initiate outbound calls to customers, police agencies and emergency contacts
• Accurately document accounts to note any events that occurred or action taken
• Work additional hours when necessary — fill open shifts and cover during storms
• Inform customers of Per Mar Security Services products and services and refer business to appropriate departments when appropriate
• As this position develops, the employee may be assigned additional duties or special projects as deemed necessary by management

• Dispatchers serve as the life-saving link between residential or business properties and the police, fire and emergency services in local areas
• Schedule is set days and shifts
• Days off will be consecutive but these are weekend schedules
• Starting pay is $17 per hour
• No selling or collections required

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required
• One to three years dispatching, call center, and/or multi-line phone experience highly preferred
• Strong customer service focus/skills a must
• Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks
• Strong computer skills with demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel;
  Internet skills required
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
• Possess the ability to multi-task and pay strong attention to detail
