Fast-paced local office of an international franchise has an opening for a Skilled Handyman or Craftsman. Our customers love us! With over 50% of our business coming from repeat and referral customers, Handyman Connection of Eden Prairie is growing, and we’re seeking skilled professionals to join our team. We are a locally owned and operated, well-established home improvement company dedicated to excellent customer service and quality workmanship.

What You Will Receive

$25-$35 an hour – competitive pay based on your skills and experience

1099 independent contractor position – enjoy the flexibility of setting your own schedule and being your own boss

Professional team support for clerical work, so you can focus on your craft

Company-specific mobile apps to better manage your work, expenses, and schedule

Monthly bonus opportunities – earn upwards of $750 based on performance

Job Summary

Cut, shape, and install building materials during construction, remodeling, or repair in residential and light commercial settings

Work with fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard

Accurately determine and identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects

Evaluate customer requests, troubleshoot issues, and problem solve to solutions

Complete a variety of commonly requested handyman jobs in residential homes

Job Requirements

Competency in general building trades

Minnesota driver’s license and insurance

Your own tools, vehicle (truck or work van), and references

Workers compensation insurance

Smartphone and Internet access
