We are ready to hire a group of individuals that are looking to enter a rewarding career in utilities as a Natural Gas Technician

If you do not have prior natural gas experience that is ok! We will provide comprehensive training to prepare you for the job. Individuals with construction, mechanical, or technical backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

The role starts at $22/hr and will also come with a monthly $450/month vehicle allowance.
Responsibilities- Perform external surface inspection for any visible corrosion
- Conduct leak testing utilizing a GMI (gas measurement instrument)
- Reporting results on a mobile device with an installed application
- Maintain a high level of worksite health and safety
- 0–3+ years construction experience
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Previous utility customer experience is a plus
- Knowledge of computer software tools
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
- Valid Third‑party liability auto insurance coverage of at $100K/$300K/$50K, plus collision and comprehensive coverage with deductibles of not more than $1,000.00.
- OSHA 10‑30 or HAZWOPER training
- Ability to carry a load of 40 pounds
Ability to climb up and down ladders - Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Able to work from time to time in inclement weather
- Ability to comply with all Client requirements
