The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for FCCP serves as the primary therapist on the Treatment Team, coordinating all treatment services for each client on their caseload. The BCBA is responsible for clinically supervising the Behavior Health Technician and/or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) assigned to their cases.

Job Duties / Essential Functions
  • Works as the clinical leader of the clients’ treatment team in home, school, daycare and other community settings.
  • The BCBA travels to these sites as needed to provide direct service.
  • Uses the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis in order to design and implement effective treatment plans. Devises a data collection system, collects and guides others in collecting the data, analyzes the data that has been collected and uses that information to modify the individuals’ treatment.
  • Implements interventions directly with individuals and models appropriate delivery to other staff and appropriate caregivers.
  • Develops curriculum materials including schedules, activities, visual aids, etc., to provide to the BHT and RBT staff.
  • Provides direct supervision to RBT and BHT staff, including initial and ongoing required trainings for Registered Behavior Technicians.
  • Completes Functional Behavior Assessments at the initiation of services with individuals and when unusual patterns of behavior develop in order to determine the function of the individuals’ behavior.
  • Utilize the VB-MAPP, Vineland, SSIS and other outcome measure to assess clients’ baseline levels and progress. This information is used to modify clients’ ongoing treatment.
  • Provide trainings on Applied Behavior Analysis, Functional Behavior Assessment, Autism, behavior interventions and other related topics for staff as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications (Education, Training And Experiences)
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst certificate.
  • Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Human Services.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar setting.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with autism strongly preferred.
  • Must possess personal computer knowledge and skills, including graphing and data representation.
