Respiratory Therapist – Per Diem

Per Diem Respiratory Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering respiratory care to patients, ensuring optimal patient and family experience.

Conduct thorough assessments, develop care plans, perform therapeutic modalities (e.g., oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications), and manage mechanical ventilators. Assist in emergency airway management, intra-hospital transport, and invasive procedures like bronchoscopy and line placement. Educate patients and families on disease management and assist with discharge planning. Maintain safety standards, document accurately, and adhere to regulatory requirements. Support and mentor clinical staff and function as Shift Coordinator after one year.

Graduation from a Specialty Training Program, ability to perform high-quality assessments, operate ventilators and monitoring equipment, and communicate effectively within a team.

Flexibility to work day, evening, or night shifts, with a minimum of 24 hours/month. The environment emphasizes safety, compliance, and professional growth.
