Production Manager

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Production Manager in the Bloomsburg, PA area.

• Ensure food safety is upheld by all employees, reporting any issues to supervisors or managers.
• Implement the vision and direction set by the Vice President of Operations.
• Provide strong leadership to production team members.
• Maintain a safe, collaborative, and continuously improving work environment.
• Oversee production processes to ensure safety, efficiency, quality, and adherence to standards.
• Monitor and analyze production performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards (USDA, FDA, OSHA, GMPs).
• Drive cost-saving initiatives while maintaining safety, product quality, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with departments such as Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
• Participate in budget planning and manage production-related expenses.
• Coordinate and support employee training programs for safety, equipment operation, and process improvements.
• Implement and monitor preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
• Manage and review production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing labor and equipment utilization.
• Support research and development initiatives for new product launches and process improvements.

• BS Degree preferred
• 5+ years leadership experience in food manufacturing
• FDA Preventive Controls/HACCP, Better Process Controls
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification
