Fabrication Technician

OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a motivated, driven individual to join our growing custom metal fabrication division. Successful fabricators are comfortable using power tools, possess a high attention to detail, focus on quality craftsmanship, and take pride in a job well done. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read blueprints to cut, bend and/or weld Stainless Steel
• Operate power tools including saws, drills, and grinding and polishing equipment
• Maintain a clean work area
• Ability to follow directions and specific process steps to ensure quality workmanship
• Construct components/fixtures

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to lift heavy equipment regularly
• Prior experience operating a metal shear, metal brake and TIG welder
• Ability to work while kneeling, bending, stooping, or crouching
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
• Capable of reading blueprints
• Possess good math skills
• Forklift experience helpful but not required
• Willingness to learn and grow
