LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - OB​/GYN

The Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides primary clinical support in outpatient settings, assisting providers with patient care, diagnostic procedures, and laboratory specimen collection. They document patient histories, vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. The LPN administers medications, vaccines, and performs minor procedures under provider supervision. They maintain a clean environment, set up examination rooms, and ensure proper infection control practices.

• Support provider-patient interactions by documenting medical histories and vital signs.
• Assist with diagnostic tests, minor surgical procedures, and specimen collection.
• Manage ongoing communication with patients, respond to questions, and prioritize provider needs.
• Administer medications and vaccines within scope of practice.
• Maintain exam rooms, ensure asepsis, and prepare patients for procedures.

Graduation from a nursing specialty training program is required. New and experienced LPNs are welcome. Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.
