As a Fiber Splicer, you are responsible for producing end-to-end fiber optic networks. You believe in doing the job right, being the best, and are up for the challenge.

• Testing and troubleshooting continuity of fiber optic networks
• Operate all testing equipment and resolve common challenges in fiber optic networks
• Prepping fiber splice enclosures such as Tyco, Comm Scope, Corning, etc.
• Utilizing fusion splicer, OTDR, and other test equipment (1310, 1550, DWDM, CWDM, OLTS, Max Tester, Power meter)
• Applying fiber engineering knowledge of fiber design, reading documentation, understanding light levels and dB loss
• Working in outdoor utility construction sites

• You enjoy working closely with your team
• You have 3-5 years of fiber splicing and troubleshooting experience
• You are comfortable working on ladders or bucket trucks
• You are flexible and open to various shifts with overtime

MOS Codes V80B, B05A, 3D157, 6423, 5699 relate well to this position.

Compensation: $25 - $35/hr
