Overview (continued) / Company contextBI Incorporated has operated ISAP for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) since 2004. ISAP provides intensive supervision of individuals in immigration proceedings, combining comprehensive case management with supervision technology. BI maintains community-based partners to support participants’ basic life needs and ISAP continues to grow and evolve.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED
- At least two (2) years of work experience in a similar position; experience with multi-cultural contacts preferred
- Ability to pass a federal background check and obtain a suitability determination
- United States citizenship required
- Must live in the United States three (3) of the last five (5) years (military and study abroad accepted)
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Good computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills; ability to deal tactfully with the public
- Sound judgment and even temperament; ability to maintain self-control in stressful situations
- Ability to work with multi-cultural contacts with sensitivity
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to perform data entry and use standard office equipment
- Ability to work with computers and software typically used by the department
- Working conditions:
typical office environment; some local travel may be required
- Provides administrative and clerical support for an Intensive Supervision Appearance Program (ISAP) office
- Greets and communicates with ISAP participants, community visitors, agency personnel and general visitors
- Ensures program participants are properly checked in for office visits
- Answers phones and directs calls appropriately
- Maintains program participant case records on the computer system via data entry; maintains files and related documentation
- Assists the Program Manager and Case Specialists with case coordination and routine clerical tasks
- Coordinates transportation services for program participants
- Performs other duties as assigned
