Hotel California by the Sea (HCBTS) is a dual-diagnosis drug and alcohol treatment center located in Cincinnati, OH with other facilities in California and Washington. HCBTS is looking for a dynamic, flexible, and passionate individual to join our outstanding team!

Responsibilities

Develops and facilitates Group Counseling and Group Education Sessions as assigned.

Professionally document and timely complete electronic medical records (EMR) for all groups facilitated rendered in HCBTS EMR system (KIPU) in accordance with:
American Society of Addiction Medicine Treatment Criteria and Level of Care Guidelines;
Evidence-Based Behavioral Health Standards and Practices; HCBTS policies, procedures, protocols and timelines;
The Joint Commission Behavioral Healthcare Accreditation Standards;
Treatment Guidelines / Requirements established by Insurance as applicable;
State Licensure / Certification Requirements.

Work collaboratively with the clinical team to promote, facilitate, and achieve desired treatment outcomes for clients. Attend and actively participate in clinical meetings with the multidisciplinary treatment team if necessary.

Support, facilitate, and participate in therapeutic treatment interventions for clients as needed. Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques to calm, comfort, and stabilize distressed clients.

Minimum Qualifications

Group Facilitator must be licensed / certified as one of the following in the State of Ohio:
Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision Designation (LPCC-S)
Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation (LISW-S)

License / certification must be active, current and in good standing
Current CPR / First Aid Training / PPD Skin Test

This is an Independent Contractor position and will be paid per group ($100 per 60 min group to include documentation).
