** Duties
* * may include:
* Answering incoming calls, administrative, non-emergency, and emergency  + Professional etiquette  + Promptly ascertain proper levels of response.  + Triage calls and enter data into computer system.
* Data Entry with critical attention to details.
* Constantly monitoring the dispatch system.  + Ensure units are en-route.  + Post moves in a timely fashion.  + Ensure other unites are within acceptable distance.
* Communicate appropriate routing instructions.
* Assist with routine maintenance of Communication Center.
* Investigate and report all time exceptions.
* Complete and submit daily reports.
* Assist in training new personnel.
** Prerequisites
* * for this position:
* High school diploma or GED.
* Highly organized.
* Accountability, compliance, and teamwork.
* Professional, courteous, and respectful interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and other staff.
** Preferred
* * experience or credentials

Competitive candidates will have:
* Minimum 1 year experience with medical terminology preferably with a background in emergency medical transportation.
* Thorough geographic knowledge of service areas.
* Ability to prioritize multiple tasks; ability to work independently and as a team member.
* Competent radio communication skills.
