Pharmacy Technician
This is a full-time, first shift position in a closed-door, non-retail pharmacy.
Provide support to the Compounding Pharmacist by performing clerical, customer service, and housekeeping duties to ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly.
Demonstrates quality patient service during interactions with patients, coworkers, and vendors:

· Exhibits a positive attitude and is flexible in accepting work assignments and priorities

· follows policies and procedures

· Performs quality work and consistently exhibits initiative
Cleans the pharmacy room according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Stocks the cleanroom with necessary supplies used in compounding.
Stocks and maintains inventory for each drug.
Reviews, documents and files prescriptions.
May compound drugs under the supervision of the pharmacist.
High school graduate.
State of Ohio pharmacy technician certification or registration with the state of Ohio as registered pharmacy technician.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Location:

Work takes place in a normal pharmaceutical environment. Travel to other CVP locations may be necessary to fulfill essential duties and responsibilities of the job. Thus, those needing to travel for work must have access to dependable transportation, and driving record must meet company liability carrier standards.
