We're seeking a forward-thinking Telecom Engineer to architect and support next-generation communication systems. This role goes beyond legacy PBX support, it's about building resilient, scalable, and intelligent telecom solutions that power enterprise operations. Provide advanced, cross-technology engineering through all phases of the Technology Life Cycle. Accountable for the overall telecom infrastructure including architecture, engineering, security, monitoring, alerting, high availability, disaster recovery, implementation standards, and support documentation. Monitor overall performance to proactively identify potential issues and tune appropriately. Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective measures. Provide technological solutions at a speed that matters for the business.

Meaningfully contributes to the technology roadmap. Leads technology modernization efforts, including migration from legacy systems to open-source and cloud-native platforms. Evaluates emerging technologies like NLU/IVA, WebRTC, and AI-driven call routing for business impact. Provides peer review for all engineering solutions. Mentor and coach others to establish and improve processes and procedures. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

• Design and successfully implement overall infrastructure components, ensuring that overall solution is designed to meet availability, DR, monitoring, security and scalability needs.
• Provide technical leadership on enterprise work and establish standards/guidelines.
• Define and create operational procedures, processes and scripts.
• Ensure secure operations of infrastructure technologies (security updates, vulnerability management, role access management, configuration hardening).
• Design, implement and support multiple moderately complex systems or applications with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and scalable solutions.
• Analyze and review emerging Telecom technologies for reliability, stability, security compliance and cost benefits.
• Provide advanced level support to operations engineering to resolve complex telecom service improving MTTR.
• Develop architectural, engineering, and operational support documentation.

• Deep understanding of telephony technologies, including SIP, TDM, VoIP, and RTP.
• Strong understanding of Cloud services, best practices and operational support.
• Experience with natural language IVRs and data integration.
• Automation and application development knowledge.
• 2+ years of experience with Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) as it applies to various telecommunications systems.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills demonstrated in voice and data IP networking environment including SIP ladders, packet captures, wireless, switching, routing, firewalls, QoS.
• Strong understanding of cross functional technologies including Windows Server, Linux, NAS, SQL Databases, REST APIs.
