** JOB REQUIREMENTS
*** Excellent problem-solving skills
* College Degree with experience preferred, but will consider candidates with a strong work history
* Hands on experience in networking, routing and switching
* Active Directory
* Experience with firewalls, Internet VPN’s remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
* Knowledge of administrating and maintaining all the relevant technologies: VMWare Vsphere   SAN or storage virtualization servers using iSCSI   Dell and HP server hardware   Cisco, Enterasys/Extreme, Barracuda and Aruba hardware   Microsoft applications   IP infrastructure
** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
**** The primary responsibilities of the position will include:
*** Administering the operation of all LAN/WAN-related network services according to company policies and procedures
* Coordinating and implementing network software and hardware upgrade
* Troubleshooting and resolving LAN/WAN performance, connectivity and related network problems
* Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems
* Work with vendors to resolve complex network problems
* Determine plan layout for new hardware or modifications to existing layout
* Work as a team member with other technical staff to ensure high-quality support services to end users
* Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored, or accessed by the network
* Document network problems and resolutions for future reference
* Participate in our on-call rotation.
* Other duties as assigned
** Additional responsibilities may include:
*** Assist personnel of other departments as a computer resource
* Oversee the installation of hardware and software
* Provide on-the-job training to new department staff members
