Care Assistant, M-F, Same Person

Job Summary

Personal Assistant (PA) for a physically challenged client in Grain Valley. The role requires a 5‑day per week commitment, Monday through Friday, working from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00–4:30 p.m.

• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care and household tasks.
• Lift, transfer, and reposition the client in and out of a wheelchair and vehicle.
• Accompany the client to medical appointments and other essential engagements.
• Participate in the client’s physical training program as directed.
• Maintain a consistent schedule and provide reliable support to foster a stable routine.
• Build a supportive and compassionate relationship with the client, respecting their privacy and dignity.
• Remain calm, focused, and independent while addressing the client’s needs.

• Compassionate and self‑motivated with a respectful attitude toward clients.
• Desire to work with individuals with physical challenges; caregiving or personal assistance experience is desirable.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with a healthcare team.
• Physical ability to lift, transfer, and reposition a wheelchair.
