Job SummaryUtilizes engineering/technical/project management/lean manufacturing experience to support the Operations team, focusing on employee safety and production throughput to drive profitability and positive customer experience. Collaborates across functions, providing leadership and facilitation. Flexible with time management to work on the shop floor as an engineering technician and to perform design and project management in the office environment.
Primary ResponsibilitiesPerforms related duties as assigned. Regular and consistent attendance is required.

Work EnvironmentThe environment is general office work with the shop production setting approximately 30 - 50% of the time. Occasional travel (domestic and international) may be required. Safety guidelines must be adhered to in the shop production setting.
Job QualificationsREQUIRED: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline. Two years or more of related post-degree experience. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Ability to manage projects from inception through completion.
PREFERRED: A diversified background in manufacturing practices such as forming, punching, machining, welding, heat treating, painting, assembly and troubleshooting. Two years or more of experience in manufacturing layout, design and processes. Knowledge of manufacturing business systems; familiarity with Salesforce and Google Suite; proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
