Overview
Intensive Care Registered Nurse (ICU RN) – also referred to as ICU RN or Intensive Care Unit RN. The ICU RN will provide intensive care to patients with life-threatening conditions, monitor critical parameters, and communicate effectively with the medical team to modify care plans as needed.

Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care to critically ill patients by performing detailed assessments, developing care plans, and implementing complex nursing interventions.
- Use advanced equipment (cardiac monitors, pulse oximeters, blood pressure monitors, ventilators, infusion pumps, capnography) to continuously track vital signs and physiological parameters.
- Safely administer medications, intravenous fluids, and blood products with precise dosing and timing; monitor patient responses to ensure effectiveness and prevent adverse reactions.
- Manage life-support devices such as ventilators, dialysis machines, and cardiac monitors.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients’ families, acting as a liaison to ensure understanding of the care being provided.
- Document all aspects of patient care to ensure continuity and compliance while maintaining infection control and safety protocols.
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
- Minimum of one year as a staff RN in an acute care hospital; critical care preferred.
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Bonus options up to $20,000 (paid as stipends every 90 days).
