Your Role

As the full‑time Merchandising Team Leader, you are the Store Team Leader's “go‑to” for developing and implementing the merchandising strategy for the store. You train and coach your team to become great merchants, delivering AEO brand visual standards every day. By leading your team you ensure the store always nails floor set execution, upholds merchandising and marketing brand standards, and maintains effective replenishment so the store is always “guest ready.”

Your Responsibilities

• Drive sales by maximizing fitting room and sales floor productivity, building guest loyalty and turning store into a destination through best‑in‑class guest experience. Analyze reports and daily trends to make data‑driven decisions and develop short and long‑term business plans to hit key KPIs.
• Lead merchandising innovation, coaching your team to keep the store representative of AEO brand standards. Manage day‑to‑day merchandising, sell‑through adjustments and replenishment, and always file actionable plans.
• Motivate and inspire your team through AEO core values; hold them accountable for delivering customer service standards on the sales floor and in the fitting room.
• Recruit, hire and develop high‑potential talent, ensuring the store is staffed for business needs and continue training your team for outstanding service.
• Provide ongoing performance feedback and real‑time coaching, celebrate wins, set development plans, and drive associate engagement.
• Maintain visual standards throughout every zone in the store, support operational procedures, and ensure fitting rooms are guest‑ready and brand‑compliant.
• Uphold safety, asset protection and all AEO policies and procedures; consistently do the right thing.
